Our Story

USA Logistics Training Solutions LLC, founded in the winter of 2024, is committed to navigating the dynamic CDL industry. Under the leadership of Brian Miller (President), whose extensive background in the industry spans 24 years as a professional truck driver, the company aims to enhance CDL training for businesses municipalities, and aspiring individuals. Our mission is to address the increasing demand for drivers across the nation by offering CDL training courses.

In 2025, we branched off to rebrand our CDL Training program as CDLTrainings.  USA Logistics Solutions remains as our overall parent entity.

Brian's History

Brian is a familiar face in Indiana transportation. As CDL Coordinator for INDOT’s Fort Wayne District, he helped develop and implement the statewide CDL program now used across Indiana and adopted by other municipalities. His expertise and dedication have left a lasting mark on the transportation community.

In 2023 Brian was the keynote speaker at Purdue Road School, where he shared insights about Indiana’s CDL program and the contributions he has made to the state. His presentation resonated with attendees and inspired many to pursue similar initiatives in transportation and training.

Preparing to retire from INDOT in early 2025 after a decade of service, Brian is launching a CDL school. Drawing on his experience as a diesel mechanic and district CDL coordinator, he plans to provide resources and training for the agency, municipalities, and local companies to better prepare the next generation of drivers.

Brian has worked closely with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) to strengthen Indiana’s CDL program, focusing on safety, compliance, and high-quality training. He was one of the first six CDL coordinators in the state and played a key role in the months leading up to the FMCSA’s Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements, helping district coordinators register as FMCSA Training Providers and ensuring a smooth transition to the new rules.

His career in commercial motor vehicles began after high school with a motorsports safety team, traveling nationwide to racing events and building deep experience in CMV operations and safety. Between racing events he spent nine years working delivery routes, warehouse design, and logistics consulting. In 2009 he and his wife purchased the motorsports safety company and founded PRESS — Professional Racing Emergency Safety Services Inc. — providing safety services and training to the motorsports industry until Brian stepped back in 2015 to spend more time with their two children.

In 2015 Brian transitioned from the racing industry to the State of Indiana, joining INDOT as a highway technician, quickly moving into heavy truck mechanic and road mechanic roles. Over the ensuing years he developed extensive diesel truck systems knowledge that informed his later work as a CDL coordinator and trainer.
